ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (APP): Independent Candidate, Salman Shahid has won the Punjab Assembly election from PP-230, Vehari-II by securing 44,950 votes.
According to the unofficial result issued by the Returning Officer/ECP, his runner-up was Syed Saleem Hussain Shah of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) who bagged 20,065 votes.
Overall voters turnout remained 53.48 percent.
