ISLAMABAD, Jul 13 (APP):Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday paid tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir, honoring their sacrifices and struggle against the Indian occupied forces.
In a message on “Kashmir Martyrs’ Day,” he said that the martyrs of July 13, 1931, laid the foundation for today’s freedom movement.
He said that generations of Kashmiris have been making sacrifices and struggling against the Kashmiri Hindutva government’s conspiracy to destroy their identity.
Gilani condemned unlawful and tyrannical occupation of Indian forces on Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the right of self-determination of Kashmiris, affirming Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the freedom movement until the liberation of occupied Kashmir.
He expressed confidence that the day to end India’s illegal occupation is not far off.
