RAWALPINDI, Aug 08 (APP):Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting six operations across the country managed to recover 188 kg drugs and arrested six accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Thursday.
He informed that 800 grams ice was recovered from a Jeddah-bound passenger at Multan Airport.
52.8 kg opium and 61.2 kg hashish were recovered from a vehicle intercepted near North Bypass Peshawar and two accused were arrested during the operation.
In third operation, 48 kg hashish was recovered from a parcel sent to Karachi from a courier office in Ring Road Peshawar.
18 kg hashish was recovered from an accused rounded up near Chenab Toll Plaza, Gujarat.
4.8 kg hashish was recovered from a drug pusher, arrested in Bahria Phase 4, Islamabad.
2.4 kg hashish was recovered from a drug dealer netted in Badami Bagh Lahore.
Investigations have been started to register cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested accused
